Your private, weather-aware gardening companion for iPhone.

What BugIntelli Does

BugIntelli brings four connected garden tools into one app: Garden Chat, Water Wise, a searchable Plant Library, and Settings for AI, voice, appearance, data, and privacy controls. It can also provide watering reminders, Live Activities, Siri shortcuts, and a Home Screen widget.

Requirements

BugIntelli requires an iPhone running iOS 26 or later. On-device Apple Intelligence features require an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone with Apple Intelligence enabled. Optional local Bonsai models require a supported device plus sufficient free storage and memory. Some features require an internet connection for weather, optional model downloads, iCloud sync, or Apple’s Private Cloud Compute.

Getting Started

  1. Open BugIntelli and complete the three-page welcome guide.
  2. Add a default location when prompted, or later in Settings, for weather-aware care and watering.
  3. Open Chat to ask a gardening question, type naturally, or use Voice Mode.
  4. Open Watering to configure garden groups, equipment, soil, sun, mulch, and scheduling preferences.
  5. Browse Plants to search the built-in reference library and save plants for quick access.
  6. Open Settings to choose your AI, voice, theme, location, data, and privacy preferences.

Garden Chat and AI

BugIntelli can use on-device Apple Intelligence or an eligible optional local model. The model choice is available from the model picker and Settings. Water Wise scheduling and its visible watering math are deterministic and do not require AI. AI suggestions are informational; check current weather, soil moisture, plant condition, labels, and local guidance before acting.
